Pygmy Tyrant is Trent Naylor, David Coonan, Dhani Wong and Willis Smith. Pygmy Tyrant formed in 2013 when four college mates with a shared love and passion for games and games development decided that starting an indie studio was a good idea. Pygmy Tyrant currently works out of the City of Sydney’s Creative Space – ‘Magic Fountain’.
Pygmy Tyrant has been hard at work and over the past few months has released several new and updated mobile projects! Including 50 Shades, a fun and frustratingly difficult arcade game.
Welcome to the brand new front page for Pygmy Tyrant. The goal of our new webpage is to present Pygmy Tyrant not only as a Game Design studio but also as a service provider. We want to make the games that you want to be made, and with our new webpage we hope to show exactly how we can provide for your Game Design needs. Take a look around, we hope you like it!
Pygmy Tyrant had the privilege of attending the recent JMC Acadamy Sydney Campus’s launch party. It was a great night with guest such as Peter Garrett and Timomatic. JMC has recently launched a Game Design course and we are very excited to see what new talent this will bring.
Having worked well together in college, forming a professional team for Pygmy tyrant was a no brainer. SAE Qantm recently did a small Q&A with us to see what is it like starting a small indie studio in Sydney and what our future plans are. Check out the interview here.
